“Given the heightened security at all airports, we recommend passengers arrive at least three hours prior to their departure to ensure a smooth check-in process.”

IndiGo, India’s largest airline, issued a statement advising:
“Due to the current security climate, heightened measures are in place at all airports. Passengers should plan for extra time to account for security checks. We appreciate your cooperation.”

The meeting came just hours after India repelled a second wave of drone and missile strikes launched by Pakistan, targeting both military bases and civilian cities in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, and Jammu & Kashmir.

According to officials, the attacks began around 8:30 PM on Thursday night, with key military stations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur coming under fire. The Indian Army responded instantly, activating high-alert protocols and countering the aerial threat.

Retaliation Across LoC
In a strong response, the Indian military launched Operation Sindoor, delivering targeted strikes on Pakistani military positions along the Line of Control (LoC). Sources confirmed that anti-tank guided missiles were used to dismantle enemy bunkers and launchpads.
