Air raid alerts sounded across the Ukrainian capital, followed by a series of explosions overnight. The city’s state emergency service said residential buildings were damaged, including a five-storey apartment block in the Solomianskyi district.
Authorities also reported that vehicles caught fire in the Podilskyi district. Residents sought shelter in a Kyiv metro station during the attack.
