Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated a new 100-bed Area Hospital in Nakrekal, Nalgonda district, on September 5. The hospital was built at a reported cost of ₹32 crore.
The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones for several development projects and addressed a public meeting marking 1,000 days of Praja Palana at the Rajiv Gandhi Mini Stadium in Nakrekal.
The projects include a Telangana Public School in the constituency, to be built at a cost of ₹9.85 crore, and a Young India Integrated Residential School in Kadaparthi village of Nakrekal mandal, with an estimated cost of ₹200 crore.
Foundation stones were also laid for power infrastructure in Munipampula village and Gudivada village in Kethepally mandal. The works include substations, power transformers and associated 33 kV and 11 kV lines.
Other projects include an integrated MDO/MRO office complex in Nakrekal mandal at a cost of ₹20 crore, road development works estimated at ₹45.60 crore, and an Excise Department building in Nakrekal costing ₹1.10 crore.
At the public meeting, Revanth Reddy said the state government was implementing welfare schemes without discrimination and was prioritising the welfare of poor people, farmers, women and the unemployed.
He highlighted measures including farm loan waivers, Rythu Bharosa, paddy procurement, bonuses for fine-variety paddy, free travel for women on state-run buses, new ration cards, free electricity for household consumption of up to 200 units, ₹500 LPG cylinders and recruitment initiatives for unemployed people.
Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Adluri Laxman Kumar, along with several MPs and public representatives from the erstwhile Nalgonda district, attended the event.
